Wildlife

“The future of wildlife is in our hands!” We must raise awareness of the dangers and devastation faced by the planet’s fauna and flora. Overgrazing, habitat loss and intensive farming are the real tangible challenges that wildlife faces today. Thousands of species are considered endangered and soon will be extinct from our planet if we don’t change. Let’s celebrate today World Wildlife Day. The United Nations Assembly decided to proclaim March 3rd, the day of the adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, as World Wildlife Day, which celebrates and raise awareness of the world’s wild fauna and flora. In it’s resolution, the General Assembly reaffirmed the intrinsic value of wildlife and it’s various contributions, including ecological, genetic, social, scientific, educational, cultural and recreational, to sustainable development and human well-being.
