The creative arts charity Dramatic Need teamed up with New York’s Carnegie Hall to present the U.S. premiere of The Children’s Monologues November 13.
Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle brought together an all-star cast for the benefit—including Tony winners Audra McDonald, Daveed Diggs, Cynthia Erivo, Jason Alexander (currently in The Portuguese Kid), and Catherine Zeta-Jones; as well as Susan Sarandon, Andrew Garfield, McKinley Belcher III, Common, Sienna Miller, Trevor Noah, James McAvoy, Daniel Kaluuya, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Hamilton star Javier Muñoz—to tell the stories of children growing up in Rammulotsi, a rural township in the Free State province of South Africa.
